Cobalt Team-Tungsten
Cobalt Team Tungsten has formed in order to build the exchange function known as Chromium, that will run on top of the Ethereum virtual machine and all associated smart contracts that connect the Cobalt ecosystem to various blockchain applications.
The team started with examining the code that Sushiswap used when they forked Uniswap, soon we will release a detailed outline of the different topics researched that provided use to the Cobalt ecosystem.
After exploring the code base for SushiSwap the Tungsten Team decided to use just small attributes and to move directly onto building their own decentralized treasury with borrowing and lending functions powered by smart contracts of their own design.
Now that the Tungsten Team is focused primarily on building on top of the EVM, smart contracts and partners to provide assistance with things such as DIDs are much more prevalent and will continue to be the primary focus of the Tungsten Team. The Iridium Team will be responsible for deploying Cobalt’s native Blockchain using the NULS framework and will be documented separately.
Right now with the cooperation of our partners providing a few missing elements, the Tungsten Team is on track to move the Cobalt Ecosystem from the EVM TestNet to the MainNet by Summer 2021.
The Tungsten Team will be heavily exploring the creation and exchange of NFTs, we feel that this will be a vital piece of the user experience operating within our Ecosystem.
